Every week contains the same four moves
Measure a small sample, choose one gap, practice it on new items, and verify it. If verification fails, stay with that same gap instead of stacking on a second job. A week that tries to fix geometry, inference, and pacing usually fixes none of them.
Full exams belong at the edges: a baseline, a checkpoint after real review, and a dress rehearsal. They do not belong in the middle of every week. Official NYCPS forms are especially limited, so use independent digital exams for extra measurements and keep the official set intact.
If you have eight weeks
Weeks 1-2 should cover the official tutorial, one official baseline, and the first gap. Weeks 3-6 are for two or three focused repairs, with independent digital practice between them. Weeks 7-8 are for a checkpoint exam, lighter review, and a final rehearsal. Do not learn a new tool in week 8. The dress rehearsal should use the same section order, tools, and stopping rule as test day.
If you have four weeks or fewer
Skip the fantasy of covering every topic. Take a baseline, close the most expensive gap, rehearse the clock and the no-return rule, and finish registration and the ticket. That is a complete short plan. A late starter who tries to 'do all of geometry' usually arrives tired and still missing the navigation habit.
If the week falls apart
Shrink the block and keep the loop. A 25-minute session that closes one skill beats a canceled Saturday exam. Name the date the longer block returns, because an open-ended pause is how prep quietly ends. A pause with a return date is still a plan.

Measure, pick one gap, practice it, then verify on new items. Keep that loop even when the calendar gets loud.
