Yes. NYCPS offers free official practice tests and a tutorial. SHSAT Prep also has a free 16-question SHSAT sample in the digital format, with no account needed.

What is included in a subscription?

A monthly or annual subscription includes every paid exam in the library, missed-question review, and score history. The price applies to each student on the family plan.

Can I buy one exam instead of subscribing?

Yes. A single full-length exam costs $24.99. It includes the timed digital exam and an instant score report with answer review.

Can I cancel?

Yes. A monthly subscription can be updated or canceled at any time from your account.

Does SHSAT Prep copy the official adaptive engine?

No. SHSAT Prep exams are fixed-form digital practice. They train content, timing, tools, and review. Start with the official NYCPS tutorial and practice tests for the closest look at the adaptive engine, then use SHSAT Prep for additional practice.
